As I mentioned, I am building a library app to check out books using QR codes. While researching, I came across a great webinar Sandeep Bhanot and Eugene Oksman introducing the Salesforce Mobile SDK. Of particular interest is that they walk through the process of using a phone’s camera to attach pictures to merchandise records. That means the books will all have cover shots when cataloged. I am not sure whether I will use this feature in the final project, or if I will use the Amazon API to pull in more data. Either way, I wanted to share the resource (slidedeck, FAQ, and code is available at the link above).
